Abstract

Research of compound in vivo activity n-hexane-dichloromethane-ethyl acetate fractionsis fractions V mundu (Garcinia dulcis (Roxb.) Kurz) stem bark as antiplasmodium. The aims of research to determinein vivoactivity antiplasmodium n-hexane-dichloromethane-ethyl acetate fractions is fractions Vof mundu (Garcinia dulcis (Roxb.) Kurz) stem bark in Swiss strain male mice and determine effective dose 50% (ED50) fractions V mundu (Garcinia dulcis (Roxb.) Kurz) stem bark as antiplasmodium the Swiss strain male mice. Method for making fractions V mundu stem barkof separation ethyl acetate extracts with KKV using solvent gradient of n-hexane, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate. The same profiles of the constituent eluted fractions 18 and fractions 19 were grouped into one class fraction Vwas tested in each group of test animals at doses of 12.5; 25; 50 mg / kg BW and 100 mg / kg BW. Negative control group was given the suspension of CMC, and positive controls were given Chloroquine. Antiplasmodium activity was obtained by calculating the percentage of parasitemia, the percentage inhibition parasitemia. And the determination of effective dose 50% (ED50)by linear regression analysis. The results showed that the fractionsV mundu stem bark antiplasmodiumactivity in Swiss strain male micein vivowith ED50 of 47,42mg/kg BW.
