Abstract

Chemotherapy is one of the breast cancer management. The high price of chemotherapy drugs caused great costs for patients. The purpose of this study was to determine how much difference the cost of therapy with INA-CBGs rates, knowing the cost components that contributed most to the cost of the therapy and the factors that influence the cost of JKN’s inpatient therapy undergoing breast cancer chemotherapy in the Prof. Kandouw General Hospital Malalayang Manado, North Sulawesi. Data were obtained retrospectively from JKN’s inpatient claims file undergoing breast cancer chemotherapy period September 2014 to February 2015 by INA-CBGs code C-4-13-I / II / III. Analysis of data obtained was using descriptive analysis for patient characteristics, treatment cost components and the difference cost of therapy and analysis using the one-sample t test to determine the suitability of the cost of therapy with INA-CBGs rates. Factors that influence the cost of therapy was using bivariate analysis. The results showed a positive difference between the cost of therapy with INA-CBGs rates code C-14-13-I Rp.79.443.235, code C-14-13-II Rp.1.610.163, code C-14-13-III Rp.1.430.842. Cost components that have the greatest contribution was the cost of chemotherapy (46.72%) and the cost of care / medical support (17.28%). Factors that influence the cost of therapy was the Length of Stay, severity and inpatient class. Keywords: Analysis of costs, chemotherapy, breast cancer
