Abstract

The black sticky rice (Oryza SativaL) is a locally rich source of anthocyanin. Consumption of anthocyanin in the diet proved able to provide protective effect against cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, antioksi and, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer. The objective of this study was to investigate the analgesic effect of ethanol extract 96% black glutinous rice in male white mice induced with acetic acid and to know the dosage of black glutinous ethanol extract which can give analgesic effect on white mouse of induced acetic acid. This research was done by maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. The analgetic test method uses themethod sigmund with chemical stimulation to induce pain. The test animals were divided into 5 groups, each group consisting of 5 mice. Group I (negative control) CMC, Group II (poetic control) mefenamic acid, Group III dose 0.22mg / 20g BB), group IV (dose 0.45mg / 20g BB), group V (dose 0.9mg / 20 g BB). The number of stretches is calculated every 10 minutes for 60 minutes. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and tukey test at 95% confidence level. The results showed that the black glutinous rice ethanol extract had an analgesic effect on white mice induced by acetic acid. The dose of black glutinous rice ethanol extract which gave analgesic effect on male white mice induced with acetic acid was 0.9 mg / 20 g BB Keywords: black stickyrice, maceration, analgesic effect
