Abstract

Hypertension is a condition when the blood pressure in the human body is raise above the normal or standard human blood pressure. Hypertension is happen in the when the blood pressure is reach 140/90 mmHg or above it. In the hypertension usually occurs two kind of blood pressure, they are systolic and diastolic pressure. This research has a purpose to know and analyze the percentage of prescription in the anti-hypertension medicine, to know and analyze the percentage of the patients based on the gender, and to know and analyze the percentage of the patients based on the age in UPT Puskesmas Sibela in the period of October to December in the year of 2017. The research use analytical description as a method and takes the data of prescription for the BPJS rawat jalan induk patients with hypertension diagnosis in the period of October to December in the year of 2017, and then the data is got analyze by calculate the usage percentage of the anti-hypertension medicine, calculate the percentage of the patients amount based on the gender, and calculate the percentage of the patients amount based on the age in UPT Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta. The result of the research shows the percentage of Amlodipine 5 mg got 68,00%, Captopril 12,5mg got 13,20%, Captopril 25 mg got 3,05%, Furosemide 40 mg got 1,52%, HCT 25 mg got 3,05%, Nifedipine 10 mg got 11,18%, the result shows that Amlodipine 5 mg has the biggest usage percentage and Furosemide 40mg has the smallest usage percentage. The result also shows that male patients got 30,45% in the amount of percentage and female got 69,54% in the amount of percentage, so the amount of the female patients is bigger than the male patients because the data shows that the hypertension patients that got therapy with anti-hypertension medicine in UPT Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta in the period of October to December in the year of 2017 are majority the female patients, the last is the result of the amount of the patients based on the age is show that 30-50 years old got 20,30%, 51-60 years old got 19,80%, and 61-85 years old got 59,90%. The calculation result is show that the amount of the patients with age between 61 to 85 years old got the biggest amount. Keyword: The usage of anti-hypertension medicine
