Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that requires longlife treattment, especially on the complicated course requires monitoring ang monitoring in the treatment of one of the monitoring is identification of DRPs. This research was conducted at Regional General Hospital Ambarawa, because in RSUD Ambarawa this has never existed this research. This study differs from existed studies because this study identifies DRPs in patients with hypertensive complications of IHD. The research method used in this study was descriptive, and the data was taken retrospectively. The sample used was patients with IHD geriatric complication hypertension treatment in Inpatient Care Facility of Ambarawa Regional Public Hospital started from January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2016, meeting the inclusion criteria. The research results show that from 41 patients, there are 6 cases with DRPs. The most DRPs incident is overdose by 85.71%, Medicine selection is inaccurate by 14.29%, too low dose by 0%. According to DRPs evaluation conducted from all cases it is categorized as potential DRPs since it does not find a significant indicator in the patient vital examination and clinical condition.
