Abstract

Hypertention is a condition when systolic pressure increased more than 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure increased more than 90 mmHg on minimal twice measurement in 5 minutes in a calm state. The purpose of this study is to find out the magnitude of the difference in uses Amlodipine and Captopril as oral antihypertension drugs in Hypertension out-patient care in the dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri Hospital in 2017. The research is non experimental comparative research done by retrospective method. The sample of the research are using purposive and total sampling of note medical record of Hypertention patient that according criteria. The correlation value calculated with T-test (Independent Samples T Test) use SPSS 21. The results of the research showed that from 245 total patients, percentage of usage Amlodipine by 66,12 % greater than Captopril by 33,88 %. Result of analysis shows that uses of Amlodipine and Captopril in Hypertension out-patient care in the dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri Hospital in 2017 there is a significant differences.
