Abstract

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid analgesic to treat moderate to severe pain. The preparation of fentanyl as one of the post-surgical treatment of pain. Pain describes the biological function of damage damage or disease in the body and is often a problem experienced by patients post-surgery. Post surgical pain is the most undesirable consequence of surgery, if not adequately managed, can result in delayed recovery of patient health and increased hospital stay. Scientific Writing was prepared by non experimental descriptive method with data obtained from Orthopedic Hospital Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, from January 2017 until December 2017 and supported by published literature study. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Fentanyl used as an analgesic therapy in bone fracture postoperative patients at Prof. Ortopedi Hospital. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta in 2017 is in accordance with the standard Hospital Formulary and Guideline Fentanil standard. The level of conformity with the Orthopedic Orthopedic Formula Prof Dr R Soeharso Surakarta and Guideline Fentanil is accurate, precise, precise, and appropriate dosage of the patient, 100%.
