Abstract

Gastritis is a disease which mostly found in society. The disease very disturbing daily activities resulting in lower productivity of society. Complications in gastritis can increase the cost of treatment gastritis. The purpose of this study to determine the prevalence of gastritis, gastritis cost of inpatient, outpatient and total costs gastritis in 2013 and the suitability of the INA-CBGS costs. Type of research is observational analytic with cross-sectional study design based on the perspective of the hospital. Method of data collection was done retrospectively from cost data of patients treatment. Subjects were patients gastritis inpatient and outpatient in hospitals Karanganyar in 2013 which met the inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed descriptively include patients characteristics, costs gastritis and test one sample T-test to know the suitability of the tariff costs gastritis INA-CBGS. Based on the results of this study showed the prevalence of gastritis in hospital inpatient Karanganyar 2013 many as 301 patients and outpatient as many as 269 patients. The cost of gastritis inpatient Rp.308.970.205 (n=301), The cost of gastritis in outpatient Rp.28.913.854 (n=269) and the total economic burden of patients gastritis inpatient and outpatient in 2013 Rp.337.884.059. The average real cost of inpatient gastritis jamkesmas Rp.553.644,26 not exceed the rate INA-CBG's Rp.1.551.299 and the average real cost of outpatient jamkesmas Rp.95.010,78 not exceed the rate INA-CBG's Rp.160.474. This shows that hospital Karanganyar in 2013 has been efficient in the use health facilities to provide patients care to treatment of gastritis.
