Abstract

Leaves leaf (Morinda citrifolia L.) is a plant that can be used as medicine for various diseases one of them is as antidiabetic. The aim of this research was to know the infusion activity of noni leaf as antidiabetic and the effective dose of noni leaf infusion to decrease blood glucose. This research was done by using infusion method, leaf powder was boiled with water at 90 ºC for 15 minutes infus tested on male mice. 25 test animals divided into 5 groups each group consisting of 5 mice, Group 1 CMC 0.5% (control diabetes), Group II Glibenklamid (drug control), Group III (2.5% infusion of leaves leaf), Group IV (infusion of leaves leaf 5%), Group V (infusion of leaves leaf 10%) Blood glucose measurement at minute 30th, 60th, 90th, and 120th Result of research that infusion of leaves leaf (Morinda citrifolia L.) have effectiv antidiabetic tap white glucose induced white mice at a dose of 5%.
