Abstract

Drug distribution is one of the important stages in the drug management system. Inappropriate drug distribution can cause negative impact on health service quality in a District/City. This study aims to determine the distribution of drugs in Pharmacy Installation of Surakarta City Health Office based on standard indicators of Pharmacy Management Training Material in District/City Pharmacy Installation. This research is a non experimental descriptive research. Retrospective data retrieval is tracing the previous year's documents. Data collected in the form of secondary data of drug distribution in Pharmacy Installation of Surakarta City Health Office 2017. Sampling is done by purpusive sampling. The indicator of drug distribution used is the level of drug availability, the accuracy of drug distribution and the median time of drug void. Based on the research that has been done got the result that percentage value for indicator of drug availability level 100%, the accuracy of drug distribution equal to 82,35% and medic time vacancy time equal to 0%. Drug management at the distribution stage for drug availability level and median time on medication vacuum at Pharmacy Installation of Surakarta City Health Office in accordance with Ministry of Health RI standard, while the indicator of accuracy of drug distribution is not yet appropriate.
