Abstract
Provision of drug information service is a pharmacy obligation based on the patient's interest, so that the pharmacist's competence needs to be improved continuously. Pharmacists are required to realize the expansion of the paradigm from drug orientation to patient orientation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of drug information services on outpatient satisfaction in Pharmacy Installation RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri. This research was conducted by using questionnaire containing statement given to 68 patients / representative of patient using non probability sampling with purposive sampling method. Data from the correlation between independent variables (drug information type, attitude and performance of pharmaceutical personnel, and duration of drug information service) with dependent variable (patient satisfaction) were analyzed by simple linear regression and multiple linear regression using SPSS version 21. The results showed that drug information, attitude and performance of pharmacy staff partially influence on patient satisfaction while the duration of drug information service has no effect, and simultaneously have an effect on patient satisfaction equal to 27%.
