Abstract
Liver organ demage is one cause of the many causes of death in world and is often by lipid peroxidation and oxidative damage are strongly associated with free radicals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ethanol extract of leaves beluntas (Pluchea indica Less) on the inhibition of the increase in MDA levels in the liver of male rats induced paracetamol and to determine the correlation between the dose of ethanol leaf extract on the inhibition beluntas MDA levels in the liver of male rats after wistar strain induced by paracetamol. Test animals used were male Wistar rats were divided into 30 groups of 6 each 5 male white rat. Normal controls, negative controls, positive controls, dose 270 mg/200 g bb I, II dose of 540 mg/200 g bw, a dose of 1080 mg/200 g bb III. Results reveal that the effect of ethanol extract of leaves beluntas on the inhibition of MDA levels in the liver and the correlation between the dose of leaf extract beluntasparacetamol-induced inhibition suggests that there is significant improvement in positive 21.6 mg/200 g dick mm and a dose of 1080 mg III / 200 g bb. From the above study it can be concluded that the leaf extract at a dose of 1080 mg/200 beluntas kg bw happen inhibition of MDA levels in paracetamolinduced rat liver.
