Abstract
Platelet examination is one of many hematological examinations are required in clinical laboratories. With the increasing demand for blood cell count checks the cell count checks manually is no longer able to meet those needs. The results of examination of the platelet count was determined manually based on the number of platelets found in a microscope and then calculated by the formula count the number of platelets, the final results are given with units per mL. Based on the results, the mean of the Rees ecker; 249366.67 and the mean Ammonium oxalate 1%; 248600.00.setelah processed statistical data using Paired t-test Samples obtained t-hitug 0.667 < t-tabel 2.045 with (p Value) Sig. (2-tailed) 0.504> 0.005 then, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted decision could be made no significant difference to the results of the platelet count the number manually using the method of Rees ecker diluting solution and Ammonium oxalate 1%.
