Abstract

Patient satisfaction to be important in drug information service because well drug information service will provide patient satisfaction so can improve patient compliance to achievedof expected therapeutic effect. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drug information service to satisfaction of general outpatient in IFRSUD Dr. Moewardi partially and simultaneously. The sampling method was purposive sampling to 307 respondents using independent variable of drug information type, pharmacy staff attitude and performance, pharmacy staff communication skill, drug information service time, quality of drug information service given pharmacy staff. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires to the respondents directly, then the data were analyzed by SPSS version 17.0 program. The results could concluded that partially pharmacy staff attitude and performance, pharmacy staff communication skill, drug information service time, and quality of drug information service given pharmacy staff had significantaffect to thesatisfactionof general outpatient, while drug informationtype had not significantaffectto thepatient satisfaction. Simultaneously all of independent variables had significantaffect to thesatisfactionof general outpatient in IFRSUD Dr. Moewardi and the patient satisfaction could be determined from the independent variable as 19.40%.
