Abstract
Andrographis paniculata herbs, black cumin and ginger rhizome has an activity as antiasthma. This study aims to determine the most effective dose antiasthma in a single, a combination treatment of 95 % ethanol extract andrographis paniculata, black cumin and ginger and compared the differences between single dose administration by dose combination with peripheral blood neutrophil count parameter. Test animals were grouped into 8 groups, each group consisted of 5 mice. Groups 1, 2 and 3 received a combination with a variety of doses, groups 4, 5 and 6 were given a single dose, a group of 7 was given Telfast (positive control), group 8 were given CMC (0.5 %) (negative control). Day 0 and 14 all treatment groups were sensitized i.p. ovalbumin. Extract, Telfast and CMC performed on day 1 to day 27. Ovalbumin aerosol exposure day 21, 23, 25 and 27. 28th day blood was taken, made the smears, then count the neutrophil. The results showed that the combination dose (Andrographis Paniculata 25 mg, 50 mg cumin, ginger 25 mg) antiasthma most effect indicated by the neutrophill decrease, the combination dose more effect than a single dose administration.
