Abstract

Hospital management in the drug consists of the selection, procurement, distribution and use, from preliminary observations conducted found several problems including inefficiency of mismatch between the planning of the annual drug purchases, the persistence of the drug expired or is damaged, recipes and more out of less patient waiting room adequate and others. For it is necessary research the purpose level of efficiency in the Jamkesmas drug management of IFRSUD Prof. W. Z. Johannes Kupang. Research using a design description of the analysis is retrospective and concurent. This study aimed to analyze the efficiency of the drug in IFRSUD Prof. W. Z. Johannes Kupang. The study used a sample of the Jamkesmas drug as a whole. Data collected in the form of qualitative and quantitative data from observations of the original documents and interviews with relevant officials. Presentation of data in tables and textual descriptions. Management of all phases of drug was measured by using indicators of the efficiency of the MOH and WHO, and then compared with the standard or the results of other studies and further processed and described by the analysis of a priority plan of action. The results showed the drug in the management of IFRSUD Prof. W. Z. Johannes Kupang generally not efficient stage of medication management are Procurement and Distribution. Priority handling of medication management as follows: 1). Enable PFT in revising formularies, 2). Perform ABC analysis - ven in the planning process, 3). Inventory planning using the EOQ method, 4). Documenting drug-drug which include dead stock, 5). Select suppliers selectively, 6). SOP improvement in the distribution and license monitor and control distribution, 7).
