Abstract
Health service in the hospital is very influenced by the quality of pharmacy service, the need of patients and society to the quality of pharmacy service hope that there is service change from the old paradigm to the orientation of new paradigm, the patients’ satisfaction is one of important element in evaluating service quality, to fulfill the need of each patient therefore pharmacy installation must be accredited. The aim of this research is to identify the appropriateness level of pharmacy service to accreditation standard in RSUD Andi Makkasau and strategy in developing it by using Hanlon method. The type of this research is descriptive research. The data was collected by using self assessment questionnaire of pharmacy service accreditation standard. The subjects of this research were all individuals who have an important role in accreditation at RSUD Andi Makkasau. The data then was measured and from the answer of questionnaire respondents was processed then it was compared with the result of interview and observation. The result found that there was differences on the result of respondents score 90% with the result of observation 72%. From this result, IFRS Andi Makkasau, Parepare was not enough to reach special for the accreditation and I needed to be done any development effort and reparation to reach accreditation standard score KARS 100%. However if it was compared to full accreditation standard score 75%, so the score of less percentage to be fully accredited was only 2.5% therefore the achievement for short period was more rational.
