Abstract

Sustainability of hospital organization is strongly affected by external environment (economic, social, technology, competitor, supplier and customer) and internal environment (organizational, financial, MIS, HR and customer) owned. Therefore, hospital should be able to create and implement a strategy by see priority scale of problems controlling the environmental factors in order to survive and thrive amid in the increasing flow of current competition and can improve quality of service and maintaining the pharmacy installation as revenue center for hospital. This study was aimed to determine problems of pharmacy installation of hospital and analyzing alternative strategies to be implemented in Maluku IFRSKD using Hanlon. The research was conducted by interviewing hospital chief and pharmacy chief and support chief, giving questionnaires to pharmacy employees, to outpatient and inpatient, collecting secondary data on the pharmacy installation of hospital and direct field observation conducted by researcher. From the research conducted, it could be determined factors which were the problem that exist in the Maluku IFRSKD then conducted determination of alternative strategies to be implemented by Hanlon method. The results showed that appropriate alternative strategies to be applied in Maluku IFRSKD was to establishment and design making of fixed procedure, to improve quality and quantity of human resources, improve customer service oriented, conducted research and development of pharmacy instalation of hospital, adding science and technology facility.
