Abstract
Breast cancer is the abnormality of glandular cells and channels in the breast. Breast cancer affects many Indonesian women and ranks second after cervical cancer This study was conducted to find out how the risk factors described in the incidence of breast cancer in Dr. RSUD Moewardi Surakarta. This study uses a descriptive method with a cross sectional design, in the form of primary data carried out at the Dr. Hospital. Moewardi Surakarta from February to April 2019. The number of research samples is 200. The results showed a description of breast cancer based on age, namely ≥40 in 197 patients (98.5%), age at first birth <30 years 166 patients (83.0%), had a family history of 90 patients (45.0%), history of breastfeeding ≥6 months 164 patients (82.0%), history of hormonal contraceptive use ≥5 years 156 patients (78.0%) and patients with births> 1 times 146 patients (73.0%). The conclusion of the study was breast cancer patients at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta majority has a description of risk factors aged ≥40, age of first birth <30 years, has a family history, breastfeeding ≥6 months, uses hormonal contraception ≥5 years and number of births> 1 time.
