Abstract

Hypertensive heart diseases (HHD) is one of degeneratif disease which has been become the health issues in many countries. The aim of this study are to determine the medication treatment pattern, average cost of medication, factors that influence medication cost, and compare the HHD medication cost with INA-CBGs cost on inpatient treatment at general public hospital of Dr. Moewardi. This study was observational study using retrospective approach. Descriptive analysis used to describe patient characteristic, LOS, complication, medication pattern and medication cost average. Correlation test used to determine factors that influence medication cost on HHD patients and one sample test to compare real cost with INA-CBGs cost. The results of this study shows that the combination of captopril-furosemide-spironolacton is used mostly in HHD medication with the percentage of 55,44%. The factors that influence medication cost of HHD are Length of Stay (LOS) which has strong correlation; another factors are gender, age, complication, type of financing, and type of therapy which has weak correlation to total cost. Medication cost of public health insurance is lower compare to INA-CBGs medication cost.
