Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is a decline of the kidney ability in cleaning blood, so it cause the substance increase in exertion, uric acid for instance. The parameter that is used to grade the kidney function of a chronic kidney failure is creatinine level check-up. This research aims to understand the correlation between the level of creatinine and uric acid of chronic kidney failure patient. This research uses the analytic observational design with the cross sectional approach. The seconder data is used with the 70 data amount of sample in the chronic kidney failure patient. The research is conducted on May - June 2019 in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The statistical analysis applies Kolmogorov - Smirnov test trial to test the normality of the data, continue to the Pearson correlation trial p<0,05 with the level of 95% credibility. The result of this research shows that the average of creatinine level is 10,059 mg/dL and the uric acid level is 9,521 mg/dL. The result of Pearson correlation trial is p=0,425 (p>0,05) so it can be concluded that there is no correlation between the level of creatinine and uric acid in chronic kidney failure.
