Abstract
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is important for employees, a safe and healthy environment is the basic right of every employee. Occupational Accident Events in the last 3 years that occurred at the Orthopedic Hospital Dr. R Soeharso like slipping, scratching, pierced by sharp objects and exposed to broken glass, then knowledge of workplace accidents is one of the things that must be considered and developed through OSH Training and organizational commitment that has strong desires or motives in achieving organizational goals. The purpose of this research was to examine Organizational Commitment and K3 Training effect on knowledge to prevent work accidents at Orthopedic Hospital Prof. Dr. R Soeharso Surakarta. This research is a quantitative research with a sampling technique that is total sampling or saturated sampling. The samples used were 50 employees of the Biomedical Engineering Staff of RS Ortopedi Prof. Dr. R Soeharso Surakarta in April to June 2019. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out in the form of validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test and Pearson correlation test. The results of the study indicate that hypothesis I and hypothesis II are supported. Where these results provide a significant value between organizational commitment and K3 Training has a positive relationship to knowledge to prevent workplace accidents.
