Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease are structure and function abnormalities of renal that characterized by the reduction of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and related to the increasing concentration of creatinine and urea. Uremia also can be linked to the disturbance nitric oxide (NO) synthetic. Plasma urea could ties NO production on endothelium cell that will interfere platelet functions. Lab investigation on prolonged bleeding time and prolong platelet aggregate. Prothrombin time(PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time(aPTT) examination initially conducted as a starting point to investigate excessive bleeding or blood clotting disturbance, by evaluating PT and aPTT test result. The purpose of this study is to investigate correlation of urea/creatinine ratio and coagulation function on patient with CKD. This study uses observational analytic design with cross sectional approach. Uses secondary data, 142 CKD patient as subject. Thi study conducted on apriljune 2019 at Dr Moewardi General Hospital, Surakarta. Statistical analysis uses Kolmogorov-smirnov test for normality test and spearman correlation test, significant if p < 0,05. The result of this study shows mean ± SD PT 15,575 ± 7,0203, aPTT 30,738 ± 8,667 and UCR 19,31 ± 12,881. Result of spearman correlation test between UCR and PT gained r value= 0,337 and p ≤ 0,001; so it can be concluded that there are weak positif correlation and significant, whereas spearman correlation test between UCR and aPPT gained r value= 0,113 and p= 0,181 so it is concluded there are no correlation. Futher study needed using primary data to understand CKD stadium to control factors that have an impact on the result. Keywords: Chronic Kidney Disease, Urea/Creatinine Ratio, PT and aPTT
