Abstract
Tubeculosis is one of the highest prevalent disease in Indonesia. This is a challenge for various parties to countinue to control tuberculosis (TB) infection. Ziehl Neelsen and Genexpert tes can be used to diagnose tuberculosis (TB). The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the result of morning sputum evamination in patients with Multi Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDRTB) using Ziehl Neelsen and Genexpert. This study uses a cross sectional method.Using secondary data with a 30 samples of suspected Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB)examined using the Ziehl Neelsen dan Genexpert staining method in the laboratories of the Makassar lung Health center (BBKPM) on January- February 2019 The results of the study obtained results on the examnation using the positive Ziehl Neelsen staining method as many as 4 samples (3+ as many as sample 2, 2+ as many as 1samples and 1+ as many 1 samples) and negative as many as 26 samples while the examanition using Genexpert results obtained as positive as 6 samples and negative as many as 24 samples. There is a diffrence of 2 samples form the negative results of the dye examanition. Ziehl Neelsen was stated positively by checking Genexpert Keywords : Ziehl Neelsen, Genexpert, Suspected MDR-TB
