Abstract
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is the inability of the kidney to perform its function. When this disease enters the final stage in the form of damage and decreased function in the kidney, the condition is called chronic kidney failure (CKF). Chronic kidney failure can occur progressively with acute initial disease, so that kidney damage will occur and cannot be restored. The function of the kidneys will be decreases, and than there will be increased levels of urea and creatinine in the blood. These substances are toxic to the body so they must be immediately removed from the body. Unexpected consequences are a disturbance in the cardio vascular system such as the onset of thrombus, hemostasis disorders, etc. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between Ureum-Creatinin Ratio with Platelet Parameters (PLT, MPV, PDW) in CKD patients. This study used an observational analytic research design with a cross sectional approach. Using secondary data with a sample of 132 patients with CRF. The study was conducted from March to July 2019. Statistical analysis was performed using the Kolmogorov Smirnov Test for normality and Spearman correlation tests, meaningful if p <0.05. The results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between UCR with platelet parameters (PLT, MPV, PDW) with the following values, PLT ( p = 0,734 ), PDW ( p = 0,970 ), MPV (p = 0,184 ). Further research is needed with primary data or by using other hematological parameters such as hemoglobin, erythrocyte index, hematocrit and classification of disease that resulting CKD.
