Abstract

The prevalence of worms time in Indonesia very high and still be a problem health in the community. Worm infections are caused by one of them Ascaris suum. RPH is a place to cut livestock one of which is pig livestock. Pig cutter staff is one of the groups at risk of being infected with intestinal worms, due to direct contact with pigs. The purpose of this study is to find out there any events Ascariasis in pig with officer cutter pigs and to calculate the percentage of infection worm. Research used are the observational with cross sectional approach. Research in to do at Home Cut Animals (RPH) Radjakaja Jagalan Surakarta city, March-May 2019. Samples used in 60 feces pigs, 18 feces officer cutter pigs and also as data respndents. Data results respondents in the analysis presented in the form of frequency distribution. The result of 60 pig stools were obtained 12 samples infected with intestinal worms with the type of Taenia solium 9 worm samples with a percentage of (15%), Trichiris trichiura 3 samples (5%). Stool result from 18 respondents found that no Ascariasis was found on the officers cutter pigs 0% bicauses have personal hygiene good. In this study concluded that no events Ascariasis in pigs with officer cutter pigs in March-may 2019. Keywords : Ascariasis, Pigs, Pig cutter officer
