Abstract

Anemia is a compilation of red blood cell counts and inadequate hemoglobin (Hb) concentrations as a carrier of oxygen in the blood. The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia according to Riskesdas in 2013 was 21.7% nationally. Important tablets contain 10 tablets for someone suffering from anemia, so in 10 days Hb levels can occur. Research before studying hemoglobin tablets before and after therapy. This research uses observational research with pre-experimental (quasi experimental) research designs, namely pretest and post-test one group design. This research was conducted in February - March 2019, located at the Setia Budi University, Hematology Laboratory, Surakarta. The study population consisted of 44 studies that took anemia and 30 samples that met the criteria using purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study were obtained p value <0.001 so that it can be obtained in the assessment added to the hemoglobin level before and after the treatment of blood-added tablets.
