Abstract
Beans the seven jurai leaves (Phaseolus lunatus L) potentially a herbal antiinflammatory. The purpose of this research to find out the influence of the provision of extract ethanol leaves seven jurai bean and effective doses could cause antiinflammatory effects with side effects that are relatively smaller. This research used animal 25 rats white male 2-3 month weight + 100-200 gram into 5 categories, control negative ( Na-CMC ), control positive (diclofenac sodium), extract ethanol beans the seven jurai leaves with a dose 14,175 mg/kgBB, 28,350 mg/kgBB, and 56,700 mg/kgBB. Treatment done an hour before in induction. In an hour rats was karagenan induced 0,8 % as many as 0,2 ml in intraplantar, volume of foot rats measured starting from t0, 0,5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 24. After foot volume data is obtained, data on foot rats volume has been reduced t0 and AUC total with %DAI has been calculated. %DAI value were analyzed with Kolmogorrov Smirnov to know distribution of data, Shapiro-Wilk and Levene test to know normality of data, then analyzed by test one way ANNOVA which was continued by test LSD. From research it was concluded that ethanol extract of beans the seven jurai leaves was given dose of 14,175 mg/kgBB, 28,350mg/kgBB, and 56,700 mg/kgBB gave the effect of a male antiinflammatory in rats karagenan induced wistar strains. Doses of 56,700 mg/kgBB gave the ability the highest in activities antiinflammatory in edema rats than doses 14,175 mg/kgBB and 28,350 mg/kgBB.
