Abstract

Pharmaceutical Services is an integral part of the hospital-oriented healthcare system by providing quality medicine to ensure patient safety. This study aims to make a proposal of the optimal management model of control design in order to avoid stockout on the AV drug preparations and AE at the pharmacy installation of Gambiran General Hospital Kediri. This research is a non experimental descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approach. Data obtained from the inventory system data at IFRS and interviews with related parties. This research was conducted at Gambiran General Hospital Kediri in July until December 2017 by taking data of drug supply of 1143 items of drug used to calculate the inventory requirement in 2018 by Consumption method with ABC analysis VEN combination of AV and AE AV category. The results obtained 646 items of drugs provided for the year 2018 with group A 72 items, group B 102 items and group C 472 items, while categories AV 4 items and AE 53 items of drugs and calculated ROP and EOQ for AV category categorical; ATS 1500 needs 2256 ampoules ROP 73 ampoules and Q 207 ampoules; Lidodex 5% requirement 1685 ampoule ROP 71 and Q 176 ampoule; Terrell Isoflurane / ml needs 32778 ml ROP 971 and Q 2874 ml; Norepinephrine Bitatrat 4 mg needs 1697 ampoules ROP 53 and Q 152 ampoule. From the calculation result of simulation compared to real purchase as test of control method which will be proposed to decrease total cost equal to Rp. 56.903.699, - as policy.
