Abstract
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic disease where the health financing procedure was regulated by INA-CBG’s. The purpose of this research was to analyze the cost of therapy in COPD patients, to know the factors that affect the cost of therapy and to find out the compliance of real cost to the INACBG's rates on COPD inpatients in Pandan Arang hospital. The research was analytic observation with cross-sectional design according to the hospital perspective. The subjects were COPD inpatients on January-August 2018. The data were collected retrospectively. The data is quantitative. Analysis of suitability of real cost with INA-CBG's used one sample t-test, for analysis of the factors that affect the real costs used bivariate correlation test. The study result showed that the average cost of therapy on COPD patients for treatment class 1, 2 and 3 on severity I amounted to Rp. 3,197,754; Rp. 2,182,918; Rp 2,591,481; while on class 3 severity II amounted to Rp 6,262,464. There is a difference between the real cost to the INA-CBG's rates on 61 patients amounted to Rp 36,933,898. There was a discrepancy between the average real costs with INACBG's rates on severity I of class 1 and severity II of class 3.
