Abstract

Improving the quality of pharmacy and drug use services with safety orientation and improving the quality of life of patients must be done. The number of errors in drug administration causes unexpected events, hospitals need to pay attention to the accreditation standards of pharmaceutical installations in terms of PKPO. This study was conducted to determine the suitability of pharmaceutical services at IFRSUD Kota Mataram against seven PKPO accreditation standards based on SNARS 2018 and its development strategy using priority scales using the Hanlon method This research is a non-experimental research design where data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Data collection uses questionnaires and interviews to the Head of IFRS and observation to support the questionnaire. The research subjects were pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Technical Staff. The study was conducted at IFRSUD Kota Mataram on December 3, 2018 until January 23, 2019. The results of the study of the suitability of pharmaceutical services on PKPO standards were: organizing 86,88%, 88,94% selection and procurement, 91,12% storage, prescribing and copying 89,89%, 87,80% preparation and delivery, 92,98% drug administration, 93,40% monitoring Of the 74 elements of the PKPO standard assessment, there are 7 priority assessments, using the Hanlon method, namely: PKPO6.P2 administration of drugs by authorized staff, PKPO3.3.P2 storage of drugs carried by patients before hospitalization properly, correctly and safely according to regulations, PKPO5.P2 preparation of sterile preparations, PKPO7.1. P5 attempts to prevent and reduce medication errors, PKPO2.P2, Monitoring new drugs, PKPO4.3.P2 copies of medical records and medication lists for patients, PKPO1.P4, Drug information sources for stake holders.
