Abstract

Gatoel Hospital at Mojokerto City is a type C hospital. It provides the Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) as an advanced health facility in the era of the National Health Insurance (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, JKN). This improvement expected to provide health services regarding the availability of drugs that have been complained by patients. It also solved problems that raised by tiered referral policies. The purpose of this research were to determine the description of drug management at the selection, planning and procurement stages and find out the results of the analysis at the selection, planning and procurement stages. It also provided recommendations regarding drug selekction, planning and procurement at the Pharmacy Installation of Gatoel Hospital Mojokerto in 2016 – 2018. This research designed by following a non-experimental descriptive way with retrospective data collection. Data processed by the results of the research include interviews with the hospital director, the finance department, the head of the pharmaceutical installation, and the warehouse team. Ratings on each indicator are compared with standards that refer to drug management evaluations published by the World Health Organization (WHO). The results of the analysis at the stage of selection, planning and procurement of drugs at the Gatoel Hospital Pharmacy Installation were need improvement : Indicator of product selection (20.43%); Indicator of quantification and forecasting (98%); Indicator of procurement efficiency (2.10%). While indicator are appropriate on target : Indicator of stock control: (100%); Indicator of missing drug (0%); Indicator of minimum stock level (0%).
