Abstract
Drug interaction is a part of Drug Related Problems, where two or more drugs interact with mechanism that is can change the effectivenes or toxicity. The purpose of this research was to determine the profile of antihypertensive drug use and its interactions to the hypertension patients with chronic kidney disease in Inpatient RSUD Temanggung 2017-2018. The design of this research is descriptive retrospective with puposive sampling method and approach metode is non-experimental. Patient samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Sampel of this research is data patients hospitalized with diagnose hipertension with chronic kidney disease collected on medical record in RSUD Temanggung 2017-2018. Data were analyzed by using Lexicomp software. The characteristics of patients from 102 samples were dominated by women (53.9%) and on age 56-65 years (27,5%). The single antihypertensive drugs that are widely used is amlodipine (11%) and the combination drug amlodipine + valsartan (7.8%). Evaluation of drug interaction found 89 patients experiencing drug interactions, namely minor (6.3%), moderate (85.9%), and major (7.7%). The mechanism of pharmacodynamic (77.7%), pharmacokinetics (19.7%), and pharmacodynamic + pharmakokinetik (2.6%). Drug interactions that often occur in antihypertensive drugs are clonidin with bisoprolol (32%) and antihypertensive with other drugs is amlodipine with CaCO3 (26.6%). Keywords : Antihypertensive.
