Abstract

Hypertension is widely known as cardiovascular disease and is one of the risk factors that lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD). Patients with hypertension with kidney disorders occupy the position with greatest incidence rates (35%) compared with hypertension that causes complications in other organs. CKD is a clinical condition characterized by irreversible decline in kidney function. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of antihypertensive treatment in hypertensive patient with CKD and the rationality of therapy in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta viewed form the aspects of the indication, the right of the patient, the exact dose and the right medicine based on JNC VIII. The research method used is descriptive research that is nonexperimental, and retrospective data. The sample of this study were all patients hypertensive with CKD listed in the medical record at patient of internal medicine ward RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta in 2017. The sample used is medical record data of patients with diagnosis of hypertension with CKD from January to December of 2017 in accordance with inclusion criteria. The results obtained from this study are that the most widely used antihypertensive drug by patients is the loop diuretic group, furosemide (9.23%). The category of drugs accuracy according to JNC VIII was obtained for indication therapy (100%), right patient (100%), right medication (84,6%) right dose (98.5%).
