Abstract
This research purpose to test Social Responsibility in mediating the influence of awareness of green product on purchase intentions.The perceived awareness of green product can create social responsibility that encourages purchase intentions.Awareness of green products will have a positive impact on consumer in terms of increasing social responsibility and purchase intentions. The data obtained through questionnaires are distributed to consumers in Surakarta.. Sampling technique that used is purposive sampling with a population of consumers force magic product as much as 200 respondents. Hypothesis testing using by multilevel regression analysis (hierarchycal regression). The results of this study show that purchase intentions has a significant effect on awareness of green product, social reponsibillity has a significant effect on awareness of green product, Awareness of green products becomes insignificant to purchase intentions after social responsiillity enters mediation, this means social responsibillity mediates perfectly the relathionship between awareness of green product and purchase intention.
