Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) The influence of attitude toward blood donation decision. (2) The influence of social norms toward blood donation decision. (3) The influence of perceived behavioural control on blood donation decision. (4) The influence of intention on blood donating decicion. The data obtained through questionaires from people of Surakarta and Yogyakarta and the research samples were taken from 202 respondents. The technique used by this research was non probability sampling. This research used questioner as the technique of collecting data. The instrument trial was analyzed by using validity and reliability test. This research used multiple regression analysis and logistic regression analysis as the data analysis techniques. The results of this research indicated that: (1) intention does not bring positive impact on blood donation decision, with signification score 0,956 (0,956; p > 0,05). (2) Perceived behavioural control does not give positive effect the decision of blood donation with regression cofficient score -0,019 at signification 0,965 (0,956; p > 0,05). (3) Perceived behavioural control gave positive impact on the intention of blood donation with regression coefficient score 0,301 at signification 0,000 (0,301; p < 0,05). (4) Subjective norms gave positive impact on the intention of blood donation with regression coefficient score 0,013 at signification 0,003 (0,013; p > 0,05). (5) Attitude toward blood donation gave positive impact on the intention of blood donation, with coefficient score 0,202 at signification 0,001 (0,202; p < 0,05).
