Abstract

Transmission of the disease is still a health problem in Indonesia. One of the health treatments that has proven to be the most cost-effective to reduce morbidity, disability and mortality due to Immunization Preventable Diseases (PD3I) is immunization. Immunization is a way to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), especially in cases of decreasing mortality in children each year. The purpose of this study is to know the description, suitability, also the number of health centers that have standards in accordance with WHO 2002 and Permenkes No. 12 of 2017. This type of research is descriptive observational where the research was carried out by observation or observation using a check list sheet and conducting interviews with vaccine officers. Data obtained from this study are in the form of vaccine storage data in 17 health centers and Surakarta City Health Service. The existing data were analyzed using Univariate analysis, namely to see the frequency distribution of the characteristics of the respondents. Vaccine storage and distribution in the Health Department and Health Center in Surakarta City are in accordance with WHO indicators in 2002 and Permenkes No. 12 of 2017. Of the 17 health center in Surakarta City, all health center convenient with the WHO 2002 indicators and Permenkes 2017 with continuous improvement quality and attention to the cold chain conditions of each health center.
