Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of purchase intentions on buying behavior mediated by the purchase plan in the context of purchasing herbal products. Purchase intention is often used to analyze buying behavior. Before making a purchase, consumers usually collect information about products that are based on personal experience and information that comes from their environment. After the information is collected, the consumer will begin to make an assessment, evaluate and making a purchasing decision. This research uses quantitative methods and sampling techniques carried out by purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The subjects in this study were prospective users of "Garcia" brand mangosteen peel extract herbal products in the city of Surakarta with 70 respondents. The method used for data analysis is simple regression analysis and logistic regression analysis with mediating variables using SPSS 21.0 for windows release. The results of the data analysis show that the purchase plan mediates perfectly the purchase intention and buying behavior. Keywords: purchase intention, buying behavior and purchase plan.
