Abstract

The storage of medicine in hospital which is managed well is one of the key success of medicine management. This research is aimed to know the appropriate medicine storage in Pharmacy Installation RSUD Surakarta with the indicator standart, including a suitability between medicine with the stockcard, TOR (Turn Over Ratio), storage arrangement system, expired percentage, inactive stock percentage, and medicine availability. This research is a non experimental with the descriptive and observative. The sampling method was done in Pharmcy Installation RSUD Surakarta on February until March 2019. The data gotten was evaluated used the standart of medicine management in hospital states by Pudjaningsih (1996) and Depkes RI (2008). Based on the research result, can be concluded that the appropriate indicator is TOR (Turn Over Ratio) it was 13,09/year, the system of storage management 100% FIFO and FEFO, the availability of medicine is 12,29/month. Besides, the indicator that has not been appropriate is the suitability between medicine and stock card 98,44%, the percentage of expired is 0,61%, and inactive percentage is 11,33%.
