Abstract

The prevalence of chronic kidney disease in Indonesia by 29.1% in 2012 with a risk factor for hypertension, diabetes, or proteinuria. Hypertension became the biggest complication in renal impairment who finished 35%, so it needs to antihypertensive therapy. Antihypertensive therapy in patient chronic kidney disease required handling and care in the selection of drugs that are safe for the patient. This study was aimed to determine the use of antihypertensive drugs in patient chronic kidney disease at RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo year 2018. This study is a non-experimental descriptive and retrospective data collection by purposive sampling method. The sample used in this study were all medical records of patients with chronic kidney disease where choose with inclusion criteria. Number of samples 32 patient medical records. The results showed that the characteristics of the patients by sex most men 59.4%, the highest age category at the age > 45 years of 84.4% and other diseases most hypertension 78.1%. Usage of antihypertensive drugs in monotherapy the most commonly used furosemide 56.3% and combination therapy ie 9.4% furosemide and diltiazem. Whereas of category right indication is 90.6%, right drug selection is 100%, right dose is 65,6% and right giving time interval is 96.9% Keywords: hypertension, chronic kidney disease, studies
