Abstract

The utilization of medicinal plants is growing now, because the ingredients are easily available and have side effects that are relatively lower. One of the herbs that can be used is a lemon. Lemon (Citrus limon L) is a fruit that is rich in antioxidants and is suitable for maintaining healthy skin. The part used is the juice of a lemon (Citrus limon L) which contain bioactive compounds such as citric acid, flavonoids, keratenoid, limoniod, tanin, and terpenoids. The Experient aims to determine the formulation lotio kummerfeldi with the addition lemon juice and combinations can be made preparations lotio PGA and meet the physical quality test preparation lotio. This study begins with making the concentration of PGA. PGA made with three different concentrations of the concentration of 1%, 1.5%, and 2%. Preparation of lotio kummerfedi with the addition of lemon juice and a combination of PGA do some physical quality test among other organoleptic test, pH and viscosity test. The statistical test used in the manufacture of lotio kummerfeldi is the ANOVA method. Results of preparation of lotio kummerfeldi with the addition of lemon juice and combinations can be made preparations lotio PGA and meet the requirements of the physical quality test lotio.
