Abstract
Instant ginger drink is now very popular in the community. Instant ginger is a beverage of choice that is rich in benefits, one of which can warm the body. Healthy Drink to know yeast figures in instant ginger drink products in accordance with the needs of the Society or not according to the standards of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) number 12 of 2014. This test uses 2 branded samples and 2 unbranded samples. The method in this balance is the count of the cup. Samples were diluted with sterile aquades from 10-1, 10-2, 10-3,10-4 and planted on DRBC medium in incubation for room temperature 5-7 days. The test results showed that the number of samples A = 5.0 X 100 colony / gram, sample B = 1.0 x 101 colony / gram, sample C = 2.0 x 101 colony / gram, sample D = 1.5 x 101 colony / gram. From the results of the examination can be concluded that the instant ginger drink samples meet the standards of BPOM number 12 of 2014. Keywords : Instant ginger, yeast figures
