Abstract

SPF Values calculated using the equation of Mansur. Stability testing emulgel Stability testing emulgel observed during the 21 days of storage and at a different temperature cycling test. Irritation test performed on 6 respondents to see if the use of formula emulgel cause irritation. The results of the SPF test emulgel on concentration of 200 ppm 400 ppm 800 ppm and is 14.7, 15.4, and 18.1. Emulgel ethyl acetate fraction of Red betel leaf concentrations of 200 ppm maximum categories include sunscreen, concentration, the concentration of 400 ppm and 800 ppm category includes ultra-fast. Stability test results all formulas stable in storage, and against temperature. Test results showed irritation all formulas do not cause irritation to the respondent.
