Abstract
Tuberculosis (TBC) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberkulosis infection. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2016 the success rate of tuberculosis treatment in Indonesia 2015 decreased compared to 2014, which is from 90,1% to 85%. The incompatibility of the choice of the type of Anti Tuberculosis Drugs based on treatment standards can be the cause of treatment failure. This study aims to determine the pattern of prescribing Anti Tuberculosis Drugs in the TB DOTS Poly Tidar Hospital Magelang and to see the suitability of prescriptions with the 2014 National Tuberculosis Management Guidelines. The sampling method in this study is total sampling. This research is a nonexperimental descriptive research with retrospective data collection, namely by looking at the recipe data in the medical record of January-June 2018. Processing data using Microsoft Excel to see the percentage. The research showed that 116 patients in TB DOTS Poly alltogether (100%) used Fixed Dosed Combination. As many as 116 patients were category 1, which new to pulmonary TBC diagnosis. To category 1, drugs given were RHZE (Rifampicin, Isoniasid, Piracinamide, Ethambutol). The Anti Tuberculosis Drugs prescribtion in TB DOTS Poly of Tidar Hospital Magelang is in accordance with the National Guidelines for Tuberculosis Management in 2014.
