Abstract

The availability of drugs in a complete type, sufficient amount, guaranteed efficacy, safe, effective and quality is a goal that must be achieved in the effort of health services, then the planning and procurement of drug must be done well. This study aims to determine the planning and procurement of drugs at the Temanggung District Health Office in 2018 based on the Indonesian Ministry of Health's drug management indicators This research is a non-experimental descriptive study. Data were secondary data and collected retrospectively from tracking documents in the Temanggung District Health Office in 2018. Data was collected on indicators of drug availability as needed, procurement of essential drugs, procurement of generic drugs, suitability of available drug items with DOEN and accuracy of planning. The data obtained were then analyzed with the Indonesian Ministry of Health indicator guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the planning and procurement of medicines at the Temanggung District Health Office in 2018 were not in accordance with the Indonesian Ministry of Health standards, looking at the results of availability of drugs 100%, procurement of essential drugs 67,63%, procurement of generic drugs 72,77%, suitability of drug items available with DOEN 70,47% and accuracy of planning 123.06%.
