Abstract

Chronic renal failure (GGK) is one of the most dangerous diseases marked by the decline of progressive renal function. GGK patients will experience lower glomerular filtration rate (LFG) values from normal people. The phenomenon of renal failure disease is described as iceberg phenomenon. Only about 0.1% of cases were detected, while those that were not detected were around 11-16%. During hemodialysis, patients should be injected with needles so that the patient's blood can flow to the dialysis machine. Often the patient may get another injection of the drug or a blood test performed during a dialysis session. If the blood of the patient with Hepatitis C touches the surface or object, and the surface or object is not cleaned up in the correct way, contamination can occur. The purpose of this study is to find out the Hepatitis C prevalence in chronic renal failure patients at Dr. Moewardi Hospital hemodialysis installation of Surakarta year 2017-2018 The study was conducted in May-June 2019 in the medical record installation of Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. This type of research there is a descriptive and sample obtained as much as 41 patients from the installation of hemodialysis Dr. Moewardi RSUD of Surakarta with the approach of Sectional.
