Abstract

Hypertension is the condition blood pressure condition exceed to normal. Hypertension was 10 biggest diseases in Padang Arang hospital Boyolali in 2017. the most commonly therapy used are Captopril and Amlodipine. Use of the drug in the long term so that impact on high cost of treatment, so it is necessary to compare which more cost-effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine effectiveness of Captopril and Amlodipine in hypertension therapy at inpatient of RSUD Pandang Arang Boyolali 2017. The sampling technique was purposive sampling from hypertension inpatient of RSUD Pandang Arang Boyolali 2017. Calculation of therapy effectiveness include decrease blood pressure reach therapy target as well as comparison total average cost of captopril and amlodipine use. Continued independent sample t-test to determine significant differences. The results showed that captopril cost class I were Rp.371 and class II were Rp.381. A drug charge Amlodipine class I were Rp.352 and grade II , were Rp.282. Therapy Captopril get value acer Rp.3.038.087 and Amlodipine get value acer Rp.1.353.707 , so Amlodipine therapy group was the most cost-effective than Captopril therapy group.
