Abstract
Beeswax is a pure wax that formed from bee hive that came from Apis Mellifera bees. Beeswax Is alreadly widely used as an addttional pharmaceutical cosmetic indredient and preservatives on fruit. This substance is used as a weathering of the fruit to maintain the physical quality and reduction of sugar content in the fruit during the storage process. Coating materials was 2% and 4%. Quality degradation of mangosteen physics could be observed by looked at the ratio of mangosteen deprociation mass, visual appearrane and also reducing sugar content during the storage by Nelloson Somogy methode. The result of these research beeswax got the mangosteen fruits mass depreciation on day 14th there were significant differences, there was significant differences on sugar content increasing between the sample with coating and witout coating during 7 and 14 days.
