Abstract
Jamu Gendong is a traditional medicine in the form of liquid that is not preserved. The manufacturing process which is still very simple because jamu gendong to be contaminated with microorganisms. This study aims to determine the value of the Total Plate Number and the number of yeast mold values in Jamu Gendong carrying Beras Kencur in Kismoyoso, Ngemplak, Boyolali Village. This research is a non-experimental study with design. Descriptive research. Samples of jamu gendong carrying beras kencur were taken from 3 herbal medicine traders who were in Kismoyoso Village, Ngemplak, Boyolali with random sampling. Results Testing of ALT values in sample A is 6.69 x 105, sample B is 3.76 x 104 and sample C is 4.82 x 105 that sample A does not meet the standard, sample B did not fulfill the standard and sample C fulfilled the requirements according to the Regulation of the Head of the Republic of Indonesia Drug and Food Control Agency Number 16 of 2016 and the AKK value on Sample A is 5.28 x 104, Sample B is 4.2 x 105 and Sample C of 3.26 x 105 and for the three samples did not meet the requirements according to the Regulation of the Head of the Republic of Indonesia Drug and Food Control Agency Number 16 of 2016.
