Abstract

Infection of nosocomial is one of the causes of increased mortality and morbidity in hospitals. Infection of nosokomial can be a new health problem, both in developed and developing countries. The implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) program is one of the efforts of labor protection that aims to realize maximum work productivity and protect the workforce from risks that may endanger health and safety especially protection against nosocomial infection. The study entitled "The Implementation Relationship of Occupational Health and Safety System to Control of Nosocomial Infection at Clinical Laboratory Dr. Moewardi Hospital" has a problem formulation whether the attitude, behavior and safety of laboratory institutions are in accordance with the regulations. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship of the implementation of occupational safety system to control nosocomial infection in clinical laboratory of Dr. Hospital. Moewardi. Sampling technique in this research is Non Probability Sampling that is sample determination technique with certain consideration. The method used in this study is a questionnaire with Likert scale method that is disseminated to the laboratory institution located in Clinical Laboratory in RSUD Dr. Moewardi. The research was conducted quanty. Based on data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the variables of health system implementation and safety and nosocomial infection control variables.
